 Petite ville située aux confins du désert salé  entre Tehran et Isfahan .
les chaleurs torrides de l'été ajoutées au manque d'eau ont contraint les habitants de Kashan à enterrer  leur maison sous terre.  ( parfois jusqu'à trois niveaux au dessous du sol)
 Ces habitations ainsi isolées par la terre et aérées par des cheminées les protégent de la chaleur .
C'est à Kashan que ce trouve le plus vieux jardin d'Iran, le Bagh-e-Fin.

A small city located by the confines of the salted desert   between Tehran and Isfahan.
The torrid heats of the summer added to the lack of water  have obliged the inhabitants of Kashan to bury  their houses under the ground.  (sometimes down to three levels under the ground )
 These houses are isolated by the ground and aired by chimneys, which protect them from heat.
It is in Kashan that one can find the oldest garden of Iran, the Bagh-E-End.
